We offer a wide range of confidential services tailored just for teens and adolescents, ages 12 to 21. At our four of our Health Clinic locations, you’ll find:

Where are Teen Health Services located and how do I make an appointment?
We have four convenient clinic locations across Fulton County to serve you. Making an appointment is quick and easy. Simply find the clinic nearest you, give them a call, and they’ll assist you with scheduling. Here are the details:

What should I do if I think I’m pregnant?
If you think you might be pregnant, visit one of our Fulton County Public Health clinics for a confidential pregnancy test and counseling. We’re here to provide support, answer your questions, and help you explore your options.
Are other locations besides the health department available where I can get low-cost, reproductive health services for teens?
Yes! In addition to the health department, you can also go to a Title X clinic (pronounced “Title Ten”). These are clinics funded by the federal government to make sure young people and adults can get affordable, and sometimes free, care. At a Title X clinic, you can get things like birth control, STI testing and treatment, and other sexual and reproductive health services.
The best part is that services are confidential, so you can ask questions and get care without worrying about anyone being told (unless you choose to share). We encourage you to find a convenient clinic location where you feel comfortable, safe, and respected, because that’s an important part of taking care of your health. What if I feel uncomfortable talking to my parents/guardians/trusted adult about sexual health?
You’re not alone—lots of teens feel nervous or awkward bringing up sexual health with a parent or guardian. If you feel safe doing so, try choosing a calm moment to talk, explain how you’re feeling, and why you need support. You might be surprised—many parents are more supportive than expected.
But if talking to them doesn’t feel safe or possible, that’s okay too. There are other ways to get the care you need.
Can I get sexual health care without a parent’s permission?
Yes. In Georgia, teens can get certain sexual health services without needing permission from a parent or guardian. That includes:
- STI testing and treatment
- HIV testing
- Birth control and emergency contraception
- Pregnancy testing
You have the legal right to say yes to this care on your own—even if you’re under 18.
Please note that if you decide to use your parents’ health insurance, they will likely receive notification of services
Will anyone tell my parents about my visit?
Usually not. Your health information is kept private. Doctors and clinics aren’t required to tell your parents about care related to STIs, HIV, or birth control. They can choose to share info if they think it’s in your best interest, but that doesn’t happen often. The only time they must report something is if they believe you’re being abused or are in danger.
Are reproductive health services confidential?
Yes! Your privacy comes first. Whether you’re getting birth control, an STI test, or other reproductive health care, your visit is kept private. The only time we have to share information is if you are being abused or harmed.
How much does birth control cost?
The cost of birth control depends on your financial assessment through the Women’s Health Services program. Depending on your eligibility, it could be free or offered at a reduced cost. Services are available at:
How much do your clinical services cost?
Our services are affordable, with fees based on your income and family size using the current Family Planning income guidelines. We also accept Medicaid and some private health insurance plans. Most importantly, no teen is ever turned away because of an inability to pay.

Can I get help quitting vaping or smoking?
Absolutely! If you’re ready to quit vaping or smoking, you’re not alone, and there are free, youth-focused programs available to support you every step of the way.
Live Vape Free is a free and confidential cessation program designed for Georgia youth and young adults ages 13–26. This program provides tools, guidance, and support to help you quit for good.

Georgia Tobacco Quit Line (GTQL)
GTQL is a free service available 24/7 that offers one-on-one personal counseling through phone, text, or online options. It’s open to anyone 13 and older who wants to quit smoking or vaping. Plus, while supplies last, they’re offering free nicotine replacement therapies for those who enroll.

This is Quitting
This is Quitting is a confidential program where you can text with other young people who are also working to quit vaping. It’s a judgment-free space where you can get advice, encouragement, and support from people who get it.

Absolutely! We offer a variety of nutrition and wellness programs to help you make healthy food choices and stay active. Can I get vaccinated at Fulton Public Health Clinics?
Yes, we provide vaccinations for teens, including routine immunizations and vaccines for HPV, meningitis, and more. Check with us to see what vaccines you might need and then make an appointment. A parent’s permission is required to receive a vaccine.
How can I learn more about healthy relationships?
Our SKYE and AYHD Programs offer workshops and resources that help teens to build healthy, respectful relationships., We talk about real-life topics like communication, setting boundaries, handling conflict, and recognizing red flags in unhealthy behaviors,
