Just Diagnosed (Rapid Entry)

Fulton County Board of Health - Rapid Entry

In addition to working to prevent the spread of HIV, our Sexual Health Clinic at 10 Park Place, along with our six other health centers, provide immediate treatment options for those who do test positive for HIV.

Rapid Entry is a program that allows anyone who tests positive to have access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) treatment within 72 hours. ART is very effective on viral suppression which is a key tactic in order to achieve an undetectable viral load. It’s only at that stage that transmission to a partner who is HIV-negative will be prevented.

Initiating ART is also vital for those who are pregnant, anyone over the age of 50, has an acute infection, or is in an advanced stage.

If you are interested in learning more about prevention regimens or HIV treatment, call or visit the location below information. Appointments are recommended.
