Fulton County Board of Health - Food Service Rules

Environmental Health Services (EHS) is responsible for the regulation of establishments where food is served to the public within Fulton County. The term “food establishment” includes restaurants, coffee shops, cafeterias, short-order cafes, luncheonettes, taverns, lunchrooms, places that sell sandwiches or salads, soda fountains, food carts, itinerant restaurants such as food trucks, industrial cafeterias, catering establishments and similar facilities by whatever name they are called.

The office of EHS must review and approve the permits of all new food establishments that open within the county. For more information about EHS inspection and permit regulations, click here.

For more information about the rules and regulations of food establishments, see the Georgia Department of Public Health Guide to Food Service Rules and Regulations.
